Overview
This one-day interactive course aims to address competency training of multidisciplinary teams caring for patients with tracheostomy, laryngectomy and known or unknown difficult airways. This multi-disciplinary initiative is facilitated by the anaesthetic and head and neck department here at the Royal Marsden; it is based on the National Tracheostomy Safety Project recommendations for clinical standards of practice with emergency algorithms including DAS guideline.
