New Imperial PLAN Representative Sought

The Pan London Perioperative Audit Research Network (PLAN) is a trainee collaborative group which aims to deliver high quality large scale audit, quality improvement and research across London. As PLAN continues to grow and develop more ambitious projects, we would like to appoint a new trainee representative for North West Thames/ Imperial School at the core committee.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join Helen Laycock, Alex Wickham and our consultant supervisor Vimal Grover. Anyone who has contributed to a PLAN project in the past is eligible.

The role involves coordinating the PLAN projects in North West London, recruiting trainees at each site to implement PLAN projects, attending PLAN core committee meetings and further roles within the committee depending on your interests and skills. It is anticipated that this individual will take over from the current trainee committee members after a suitable transition period.

The role will suit anyone interested in audit, research or quality improvement. You will gain exposure to project selection, development and delivery which will aid and potentially inspire your own work. Additionally it will give you experience in developing collaborations, working in a dynamic team of enthusiastic trainees from across London and learn essential management skills for future careers.
