Applications are invited for 12-month fellowships in anaesthesia, working at Charing Cross Hospital. There are 4 posts available. These posts are ideally suited to either an experienced anaesthetist approaching the end of their training, or an anaesthetist who is post completion of training and is looking to round off their experience prior to securing a consultant post.
As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will take part in a 1:8 senior on-call rota alongside the other fellows and ST6/7’s.

In addition to your clinical duties, there is 1 day a week dedicated to activities that enhance your own education which can be used for teaching, research, audit and paper preparation as well as further clinical activity elsewhere in the Trust or at other hospitals.
Applicants are required to have a the FRCA or equivalent qualification and in addition to their protected training lists will be expected to be able to run their own lists supervised by a consultant in a nearby theatre.
These posts are initially for a 12-month period although can be extended by mutual agreement if required.
