Applications are welcome from Imperial trainees who are ST5 and above for the airway/head and neck fellowship at Northwick Park hospital. This post is only open to Imperial anaesthetic trainees. It is an ‘in scheme’ post so application /funding for OOPE is notnecessary.

In addition skills in transtracheal, supra and infraglottic jet ventilation, retrograde intubation and percutaneous tracheostomy will be gained.

The post holder will assist with training in airway management for more junior team members, and with teaching to medical and paramedical staff outside the department on an ad hoc basis.

Other Clinical Duties

The post holder will participate in the senior ST rota with its attendant duties.
